Being that the Champs and Trans Am are two of the very few currently existing bands that I actually like and support, of course I was all over this record like a bum on a bologna sandwich.
Overall, it isn't quite as good either of the band's best work. But it IS great nevertheless. The Champs seem to dominate. It sounds like the Champs cooked most of the entrees, then Trans Am added their 11 secret herbs & spices. As is to be expected, tongue is WAY in cheek. My favorite track is Then Comes Saturday Night, which would make Foghat and Boston proud.
