Free Music Review: The "spirit" of Christmas in a nutshell.

I heard the song "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo" on the radio. That song in itself inspired me to buy the CD. And when I did, ... I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rest of the CD was even MORE amazing than that particular song.I, ... (like so many others) think that Christmas is becoming more and more commercialized with each passing year. This CD was my little way of getting back to "what Christmas is supposed to be all about". Read the CD liner, pop the CD in your stereo, ... and in no time, ... you'll forget all about top dollar gifts, huge credit card bills, angry mobs at the mall, and all that jazz. You will instantly be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.
Three guesses as to what I gave my brothers and sisters for Christmas this year. Gee, ... it wouldn't have been this CD, ... do ya think? :)

I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THEM PERFORM THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, AND I JUST RECEIEVED MY NOTICE FOR THE NEW SHOW LIST FOR THE 2007-2008 SEASON, IF ALL OF YOU OUT THERE LOVE TO LISTEN TO THESE CD'S YOU HAVE TO GO TO THEIR WEB-SITE TO SEE A LISTING OF ALL THEIR SHOWS AND TRY TO GET THERE TO SEE THEM PERFORM, YOU WON'T BE SORRY, IT IS THE BEST, THE MUSIC, THE LIGHT SHOW IS OUT OF THIS WORLD, ETC. THEIR MUSIC IS SO INTENSE, AND THEY PUT THERE ALL INTO IT, AND IT SHOWS. I AM LOOKING SO FORWARD TO SEEING THEM AGAIN, I NEVER GET TIRED OF THEM. THEY HAVE SUCH A TALENT, THAT SURPASSES NO OTHER, THEY ARE AMAZING, I HOPE THEY CONTINUE TO BRING NEW MUSIC FOR ALL OF US TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY. YOU GUYS ROCK BIG TIME, KEEP ON KEEPIN ON TSO-----WE LOVE U Music Review: a must for everyoneHit: 5 Stars this cd is definately a great one. that "music fan" who gave it one star seriously needs to re-analyze his or her interest in music. this cd is loaded with powerful instrumentals, melodic vocals, and inspiring lyrics. i saw trans-siberian orchestra live on dec 11 in washington, dc, and it was the best show i've seen in my life. and i've been to lots of shows, i've seen dave matthews, sammy hagaar, david lee roth, tom petty, brian setzer, creed, 12 stones, and many others. what makes this cd so cool is that it's got the orchestra behind it playing stuff you'd hear in the 14th century, and then you get this 80's metal band playing with it. it takes so much time, energy, and skill to put something like this together. anyone who doesn't like this cd obviously does not know what music is, or how to appreciate it.

Look out Mannheim Steamroller, you have a new neighbor on the block, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. After not getting the first album last year, I finally caved in and bought both of them earlier this month. I am definitely not disappointed as this is one of the best Christmas recordings I have ever purchased. Don't get me wrong, I love Mannheim Steamroller, but Trans-Siberian Orchestra has got sounds you would never dream of when it comes to Christmas Music. Fans of hard rock and even metal will love this albums's unique sound. Just when you think a song is done and the fireworks are over, another song with possibly a different point of view starts and the surprises continue. My favorite songs to this point include: An Agnel Came Down and A Star to Follow. Definitely a must-buy....you will not be disappointed!Free Music Review: Love every minute of it!

This album is for all adventurous souls who are willing to explore music that erases the lines between classical and rock or are looking for out of the ordinary Christmas music. If you love both Classical music and Rock music, I can guarantee you will love Trans-Siberian Orchestra. If you like either one of these styles there is a good chance that you will love this music. My favorite piece is the title track "Christmas Eve in Sarajevo", the main part of the song is TSO's version of "Carol of the Bells" although you will hear musical phrases from other songs you recognize woven through it. My second favorite is the piece known as "Mad Russian's Christmas" which is a medley of Nutcracker music. There are also original pieces that will tug at your emotions and draw you into a genuine Christmas spirit.
