Christmas Eve and other stories is an amazing album! Period! I actually bought this album in August. My brother bought The Christmas Attic after hearing about this band/orchestra from another friend. Sneaking into his cd collection I pulled out The Christmas Attic. I loved it! I than lost the album and kind of sunk away from TSO for a while. Than I downloaded "First Snow" off this album. It is one of my favorites off this album! EVERY song on this album is packed with excitement. Their best album yet! The melodies given in this album are pure genius. The guitar and drum parts are well thought out and mixed well together while the storyline couldnt be any better! This album deserves five stars. Buy this album. A Xmas like nothing before. This is the best album I have ever heard. Just enough of a mix of guitars and strings. The best track, the old Savatage track, "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24) opens with a haunting guitar riff, and is joined with thundering drums, pounding bass, and sliding strings and bells. This is the best and newest thing to hit christmas. The songs are traditional songs that are revved up, just enough to get a heavy feeling, but not so much that they loose the feeling of christmas. The other songs, are original songs written by Paul O'Neill (who, may I add is a sheer genius) The lyrical songs feature some of the most talented vocal performers. If anyone out there is like me, you are sick of the same old christmas music that is played during Christmas. What makes it worse is that really bad singers and popular artists try to re-make them and end up making them worse. Rock + Christmas. There really isn't any reason to explain it because everyone here looking at this item knows exactly what TSO is about. If you give it less than 5-4 stars, maybe 3 at the lowest, then you have no business to review it. It may sound harsh, but this is intended for music fans and people who enjoy a holiday change. Highly recommended. Great story behind the lyrics which is nice to see. I can't remember the last time I heard music that actually meant something besides a stack of greenbacks going into someone's pocket. 5 Golden StarsFree Music Review: Amazing

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an amazing band. My parents have been listening to their music since they came out, and they got me addicted. I have been to three of their concerts and those are just as amazing as the CD. Some people say "how can you call this Christmas music?" or "they ruined the classics!" but they didn't! Most of the songs are their's, or they took a song and changed it completly around. You need to listen to the lyrics, and listen to the story they tell! If you are a complete classical person then this CD isn't for you. But if you like some rock then listen to this. I mean I know I get sick of the old Bing Crosby hits, and the same songs year after year. This CD allows different sounds that are interesting! WHILE WORKING AT A CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR I HEARD AN INSTRUMENTAL VERSION OF O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL/O HOLY NIGHT . I ASKED ONE PERSON AFTER ANOTHER WHO WAS PLAYING THIS PHENOMINAL MUSIC. MY SON CHRIS CAME IN AND I ASED HIM IF HE KNEW WHO THE CREATOR OF THIS MASTERPIECE WAS. HE SAID HE THOUGHT IS WAS TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA. I WENT ONLINE AT AMAZON.COM TO SEE IF IT WAS THERE AND SURE ENOUGH I GOT TO LISTEN TO IT AND WAS THRILLED THAT I LOCATED THIS CLASSICAL ROCK GENRE. I HAVE SINCE PURCHASED EVERY CD THEY HAVE MADE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED ABOUT SUCH A TALENTED GROUP. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO BUYING THEIR NEW CD NIGHT CASTLE. I HOPE TO SEE AND HEAR THEM NEXT TIME THEY ARE IN OR NEAR PENNSYLVANIA. GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU ALL AND KEEP US THIS MAGIC.
