Free Music Review: A brilliant musical masterpiece!
Hit: 5 Stars

If I could give this album 10 stars, I absolutely would. This is one of the single best musical masterpieces I have ever heard - each time you listen to it, another layer is revealed. It is a truly brilliant work of art. The album follows the story of an angel sent my god to visit our earth and see what has become of his creation. The most poignant song on the album is "Old City Bar," which follows a starnger's endeavor to help a runaway girl get home and its impact on those who witness it. The music on this album will make you want to laugh, cry, and will fill your heart with pure spirit. It does what great art is supposed to do - it takes your emotions to new high while being beautiful in its own right. I cannot recommend this CD enough.

Free Music Review: Brilliant - A Masterpiece
Hit: 5 Stars

Owners of this CD can consider themselves fortunate to own the best modern Christmas CD ever recorded. While the haunting Sarajevo 12/24 is generally considered the highlight of this collection, it is packed from start to finish with brilliant music. The stunning bells of "Silent Night" wonderfully embedded within the middle of "An Angel Comes Down", along with the song's passionate vocals, set the stage for a breathtaking 60 minute collection of power and melody. I can't get enough of this CD at holiday time - TSO's other 2 holiday CD's are almost equally stunning. I've seen them in concert at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in NYC, as well, and was out of breath at the end of the performance. Brilliant - an absolute masterpiece of music.

Free Music Review: Absolutely Awesome
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been listening to this tape everyday back and forth to work and never get tired of it. It is uplifting and enjoyable. I picture how this would look performed live, which I would really love to see. I'd settle for video if it's available. Although it's not the first cut, I see it opening with Joy to World in a darkened auditorium with a single spotlight on the vocalist. Then a spotlight on the guitarist when they come in then followed by the drums. Then when the full bore orchestra chimes in, the curtains open and the stage is a blaze of light as the orchestral arrangement blows away the audience. I picture this everytime I hear it. Many moments in the CD sends chills up and down my spine. I want more.

Free Music Review: The best Christmas music EVER!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become my favorite group since I first heard them on the radio. As soon as it is time to put the Christmas music in, I listen to Trans-Siberian Orchestra first. They make absolutely amazing music. It's great to get away from the the classic choral and fluffy Christmas music. This stuff is pure Christmas spirit and it's the kind of music that gives you chills when you hear it. I've always felt that good music puts a kind of magic in the air. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra fills my home with magic everytime we put the CD in. I would recommend anyone to buy this CD, even if you prefer traditional Christmas music. This is music unlike any other, and I guarentee you will love it.

Hit: 5 Stars

The staple piece ,that includes Merry Gentlemen and Carol of the Bells, is what drove me to this particular album. That and the fact that most of the Christmas albums being presented by pop, rock, and other modern stars are becoming a bit contrite.
What a surprise! And do you know what I enjoy most? Listening to each piece and trying to identify the underlying artist that inspired TSO through this journey. Can anyone else hear Brian May? How about REO Speedwagon? Or Meatloaf?, Harry Chapin? Journey? The Metallica and Van Halen references are very obvious. But what about Paul Buckmaster? Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber? I won't ruin it by telling you where these stellar snippets appear. Listen and enjoy!
