Free Music Notes for The Christmas Attic

Free Music Review: Another awesome job
Hit: 5 Stars

Admittedly not quite as dynamic as their first album, however, it rapidly grows on you. Another masterpiece by Paul O'Neill. From his early days in Savatage to the inception of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, his genius only gets better and better. A definite follow up need for your CD collection. In combination with "Christmas Eve and Other Stories", one doesn't need any other Christmas music... other Christmas music doesn't really exist when these two albums are around.

Free Music Review: Great Music
Hit: 5 Stars

I love this CD.The instrumentals are great, and I love the vocal style. The lyrics also have powerful messages. I listen to it year-round. I woud recommend listening to the samples first, because the singing style may not be for everyone, but I love Opera, Gregorian Chants, and traditional Christmas music, and I enjoyed every minute of this CD. #10, Find Our Way Home, moves me to tears whenever I hear it, as do several others. (But that's my favorite) Highly recommended!

Free Music Review: Great Mix
Hit: 5 Stars

What a blessing to find a little rock & roll mixed with a classical venue. If you like traditional Christmas music this is not for you. But if you appretiate all forms of musical expression, enjoy the true message of the Christams season, like favorite Christmas tunes and love the riffs of rock instrumentation, you'll say, "It's about time!"

Worth 100 times the price in entertainment and listening value. You'll listen that many times too!

Free Music Review: There Aren't Enough Stars In The Sky To Give This Album
Hit: 5 Stars

This album combines the traditional Xmas songs we've all grown up with, with 90's heaving guitars and harmonic melodies and new ronditions that float through one's speakers as smoothly as silk. Paul O'Neill & Co. are able to revv up the traditional songs yet not make them obnoxiously heavy. Some beautiful perfomances by New York's most prestigious vocalists also are included. This is a must-have not only for the Xmas season but for the entire year.

Free Music Review: Making Christmas, Making Christmas
Hit: 5 Stars

In my younger days I used to love buying concept albums. Jethro Tull, Yes, The Who, ELP, Genesis etc. I have always loved all kinds of music, including Christmas music. This is a superb combination of rock opera and Christmas music. It harks the Xmas standards and creates new music that definately hits the holiday spirit. I stumbled on this one and i am very happy I did.

There is no point trying to compare this to Mannheim Steamroller etc.
