Free Music Notes for Transformers - The Score

Free Music Review: Transform your music
Hit: 5 Stars

If you enjoyed the movie you must have this disc. I listen to the music and I can see the movie action in my head. I have never been a fan of this toy collection, but the movie and the music made the both blend into something that appealed to that kid inside. Without this music the movie sould have been soulless and that would have been a shame.

Free Music Review: Awesome Tacks!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Music is the element that truly sets the mood in a great movie, and I did love the Transformer movie of 2007. But even if just the score were out and there was no film, I'd still be just as excited to have it. Steve Jablonski does an excellent job in this score in my opinion. My personal favorites are "Autobots" "Skorpinok" and "Optimus" The rest are still good too.

Get it if you life. I loved the movie

Free Music Review: A Powerful epic film score that is a must have for fans of Transformers
Hit: 5 Stars

After listening to the score CD of the new live action film, "Transformers" and comparing it to the original soundtrack from the 20th Anniversary CD with bonus tracks from the film's composer Vince Dicola, I have to say that the new score from the summer blockbuster film was well worth the wait and definitely well worth every minute of it. Composer Steve Jablonsky compiles together a score that combines a mix of suspense, haunting mystery, awe and harrowing jaw dropping fast paced adventure for such themes as, "Scorpinox, Arrival to Earth, Optimus and Downtown Battle." Unlike the film's Album CD which, has a whole host of heavy metal songs, the cleverly and uniquely composered score has tracks that are both haunting and engaging. Needless to say, it's easy to get lost just by listening to the music. After a few times playing the CD it's very hard to try and compare both scores. They are both very original and both right for the times that they are in both past and present. Vince Dicola's score combines a mix of intriguing high tech rythmn and 80's rock and roll themes from the original animated film score. Whereas, Steve Jablonsky's live action score is much more along the lines of such films as, "Backdraft" and "Pearl Harbor" film genre, conveying emotions of wonder and excitement all at the same time all rolled into one awesome and very compelling score. 10/10 for this CD that is worth buying.

Free Music Review: Must Buy
Hit: 5 Stars

Usually I don't buy CD's because they cost to much for only a couple of songs that I want, and I'm just going to rip the music and toss the CD anyways, but it was only because of a petition that this Album exists, so please take the time to buy it if you enjoyed the music in the movie. This is the first CD I've bought in like five years. Big thanks for listening to the petition!

Free Music Review: An excellent score that is captured very well on this CD!
Hit: 5 Stars

Transformers fans will remember that the score complemented the film beautifully. It's recorded quite nicely on this CD. Of the 20 tracks, there are only 2 that I don't thoroughly enjoy (tracks 9 and 13, which I don't think are bad, both fit the movie scenes, but just aren't too exciting on CD). The rest is fantastic. Track 7, Bumblebee, is my favorite - a brilliant composition that builds a powerful crescendo (the Amazon sample is an early part). Track 12, Arrival to Earth, is a close second. Fans will remember this track as the music that perfectly accompanied the amazing spectacle that was the arrival and initial transformation of Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet. One minor issue with the CD is that the track order doesn't quite align with the order of events. The first two tracks, themes for the Autobots and Decepticons, are a strong kickoff, though. Both themes are fitting and great listens. Overall, this is an excellent CD, very highly recommended!
