Free Music Review: Trapt Debut is Amazing, 2nd Album is INSANELY OUTSTANDING

Before Trapt became such a mainstream, readio-frenzy band, they definitely grabbed my attention when I heard "Headstrong" while browing on the internet for some upcoming artists. As soon as Headstrong was over, I immediately began to research and check out their other material and I must say it's simply outstanding. This first album (Trapt) was excellent, wonderful riffs, a powerful, unique set of vocals, and a perfect execution of drum beats all blended together in harmony. I'll tell you one thing though, after getting an advance on their second album (Someone In Control) I was overwhelmed in awe, you DO NOT want to miss out, buy it ASAP! If you thought their first album was good, you'll be blown away by the second. I was suprised of how upbeat and heavy and they have gotten which totally supercedes and improvs upon their first album. While most metal bands are becoming soft (*cough*cough* Staind *cough*), Trapt is still hitting the rock scene with unbelievable rhythem and unprecedented vocals. Buy Someone In Control as soon as you can, in my opinion, it's three times as good as thier last.

It is a pretty good debut,but it probably could have been better.The moment I heard Headstrong I loved Trapt and liked most of the cd.I think it's pretty stupid that this album is considered explicit,Trapt isn't just dirty or dark enough to be slapped with the explicit logo.So what they curse a little bit,all rock bands do.But overall really goodFree Music Review: Trapt amazing alum & amazing live show

Trapt is one of these new bands that you can listen to enjoy thier music and respect how they are able to please fans of all ages. I mean they have the sound that uplift and stimulate listeners and they appeal to most all age groups of fans. Rare to see a band with so much to offer and can put on an amazing live performance. I really loved thier debut album and being as how they are taking thier time to put thier follow-up album out, i'd expect it to really be amazing. "Headstrong" and "Still Frame" are two of the most poppy, radio ready, formulaic, and predictable songs I've ever heard in my whole life. I haven't heard this whole album, because I can't imagine listening to a whole C.D. which is as god awful as those two songs.Free Music Review: Still playing strong

I have had this cd in my collection for a little over a year and it is one of my favorites. Im still playing it all the time and my friends love it too. I love almost every song and cant wait til the next album.
