Free Music Review: Vol.1, one of the best albums ever!

Traveling Wilburys, Vol.1, is without a doubt one of the top rock,or pop, albums in rock music history! The lyrics are sharp and smart. The performances are all first rate. It is an album that you will want to listen to from beginning to end, then listen to again! I am not a big fan of any of the individual performers, but here they come together with an album that is very special. That said, I have never listened to the second cd, volume two. From what I have read, though, it is a notch or two below volume one in quality. I gave the set five stars based upon Vol.1. Volume 1 is that good! The price for the set is a bit steep, so I can't say go buy it. If I had listened to volume two, perhaps I could say buy it. Forty dollars is a lot to pay for one album. For what it's worth, I have a couple of remastered sets put out by Rhino Records that I am very happy with. Peace!Free Music Review: Riding Along With The Traveling Wilburys

I was so happy to be able to buy this Deluxe Edition set and for such a remarkably reasonable price!
Having the dvd is very special to me because of the late great Roy Orbison and George Harrison. Being able to watch them at work on some of their very last projects is, as they say, PRICELESS!
The rest of the band are also some of my all time favorite musicians. When they got together and became The Traveling Wilburys it was better than a dream come true because it was a dream I never even considered having.
So, I thank you Amazon.com for making the product available and quite affordable. I will enjoy these cd's for all the rest of my days!

The dvd is fun. It's great to watch these most talented artists actually making the music and who does what. All of the music is wonderful. The history of the Traveling Wilburys is great! George Harrison and Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and Jeff Lynne. The talent of Tom Petty's song writing is evident and all the musical talents of every one else. I miss Roy Orbison so much, he's always been a favorite of mine. Dhani Harrison does backup vocals on a couple of songs. I am more fond of the first cd, but I do have some favorite songs on the 3rd one too. All of the guys wrote songs (except for Roy Orbison). It's a feel good music festival, to say the least.Free Music Review: This is a must have for fans of The 'Wilburys'

I love this music. I recommend the deluxeTraveling Wilburys (2CD/1DVD, Deluxe Edition)edition because the DVD and book are well worth the extra few dollars. If you love Topm Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbinson and Jeff Lynne then you will be amazed to hear them togehter. I am so glad they created these tunes when they did. Thee will never be another opportunity. And by the way, if you are fans of Dylan and Petty yuou can catch their radio shows on XM Radio weekly.
