Free Music Notes for Traveling Wilburys (2CD/1DVD, Deluxe Edition)Free Music Review: Wilburized!!! Hit: 5 Stars
A beautiful box set with lotsa extras. This is really fun music. Considering the lineup, it could have gotten intense. Instead, it's just plain enjoyable. The blue linen box holds the silver colored CD/DVD cases. Quite nice to look at and to listen to as well. A brown sleeve holds a couple of nice glossy photos and few odd promo pictures as well. The silver book with the history and "true history" completes this package which will probably get a grammy for packaging alone. A great gift for any fan or treat yourself.

After all the years of waiting we finally have the re-mastered versions. It was well worth the wait. The DVD is also really good, but I would like to have seen it in 5.1. The bonus tracks are good but it's a shame there were no more (Like the instrumental version of 'New Blue Moon') from the 'She's My Baby' CD single released around the time of Vol. 3. The version of 'Runaway' also differs from the version on the 'She's My Baby' CD single, there are now horns present, I guess this one has been re-mixed.
Free Music Review: Great Buy! Hit: 5 Stars
I had been interested in checking this band out for a while. I couldn't pass up on the ten dollar lightening deal when I saw it. Definitely a great listen. Haven't had a chance to watch the DVD yet, but the music more than makes the purchase worth it. If you like all the artists as individual acts, then you can't go wrong with this band. Really reminds me of the supergroup "The Highwaymen" in that every member meshes so well with one another, yet each one brings their own style to the table.
Free Music Review: Travelling on Hit: 5 Stars
Long overdue re-release of some classic material. How sad that Roy did not survive to see the reception the Wilburys' work got. Not one single track on either CD disappoints. I had forgotten the odd track from the second album but it soon came back and sounds better today that it did back then. The DVD and accompanying booklet/photographs completed a truly memorbale collection. If there were more than five stars this colection would be worth it.
Free Music Review: Priceless Hit: 5 Stars
I have asked and looked for this particular CD for a few years. The music which comes from this CD is fun to listen to and watch. They had fun making it and it shows when you listen to it. These 5 well known, suburb, and fantastic artists who made this timeless group will forever be lost. However having this CD and DVD will remind us of the two very talented men who were an integral part of the group that have gone to Rock n Roll heaven.
