It is a very nice package, but whether you need the deluxe version or not is entirely up to you. As some others have said here, I bought it based on Amazon's low price.
IMO, the remastering job that was done on the audio tracks is excellent, so, if you're a big fan, you probably do want these remasters in some form.

Traveling Wilburys completes my rock 'n roll collection of CDs. The video DVD included was pure bonus! The songs are all good and it's fun to identify Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty's voices. Traveling Wilburys is a separate playlist on my mp3 player. This collection is real rock and roll. Made by talents who could claim but show no ego. Orbison, Dylan,Harrison, Lynne, and Petty could easily showed ego and ruined this compilation. Exceptional package, I own several "limited editions" of CD/DVD packages and this by far is one of the best, the music, seein' the boys in the studio and just hangin' out is like you're there. Roy and George live on through the wonder of DVD...Kudo's to Rhino Records for such an outstanding product!
