Free Music Review: Well-deserved winner for Best British Album of 1999...

The review above doesn't mention that this deservedly won Best Album at the recent Brit Awards, the UK's much hipper answer to the Grammys.It's easy to compare Travis to Radiohead, but while Fran Healy may sound like Thom Yorke, Travis is more tuneful. When Travis released their debut album, they were in fact heraleded as 'the new Oasis' for their fun-loving, full-on rock-outs like 'U-16 Girls'...a couple of years later, they seem like Oasis' older, more mature brothers, taking their craft to the next level with brilliant songs like 'Driftwood'.
