Free Music Review: "Still Da Baddest"- Trina's 4th & best album!!
Hit: 5 Stars

"Still Da Baddest" is the 4th album from female rapper Trina and is definately the best so far = a hot hot album!! The intro is pointless in my opinion but i'm not an intro/outro/interlude/skit fan. Anyway "Still Da Baddest" has 11 brilliant tracks, 10 of the 11 tracks being 100% outstanding! (and "Hot Commodity" being just very good)! Trina's voice is def at her best on this album (Listen to her previous 3 albums: "Da Baddest B***h", "Diamond Princess" & "Glamorest Life" and you can hear how much her voice has changed) and the songs are really really decent, therefore making a brilliant album. I love all 3 Trina CD's but they are no competition compared to this one in my opinion- it's really crazy that not everyone is giving this album 5 stars.

Also for Trina fans, try and get hold of the 'Best Buy' edition of the album featuring 3 bonus tracks "Crash My Party", "I Got A Problem" and "Lame" (I was lucky enough to get the special Best Buy edition from here on amazon.com, cause I'm from the UK and wouldn't have been able to buy off the Best Buy website) and anyway, the 3 bonus tracks are very good, not on the outstanding level of the regular tracks but are still really good tracks, especially "Crash My Party" & "Lame" and any Trina fan should check them out.

I fully 100% recommend this outstanding 10/10 album to anyone!!

Free Music Review: She didn't lie. She is Still da Baddest
Hit: 4 Stars

On her fourth effort, Still Da Baddest, Trina has definitely proven that she is the best in her genre. While some fans are sitting around waiting on the releases of other female rappers, Trina manages to get another solid cd out and hold her place as the Queen Of The South.

The intro definitely is a great introduction. They are building Da Baddest Chick from scratch with her her assets. She kicks the door in with the Title Track Still Da Baddest and slays her competition effortlessly with Killing You Hoes. She proclaims her bachelorette status on Single Again which is probably the weakest track on the album but still mananges to make an impact. She trades veres with Rick Ross on Hot Commodity and gets a helping hand from Rap/R&B veteran Missy Elliott on I Got A Bottle. Even on the songs with R&B newcomers Shonie (Wish I Never Met You) and the sexed up Phone Sexx with Qwote Trina manages to give her fans exactly what they want and need.

The only downfall is the two verse songs. Just when Trina has pulled you end you get a drawn out chorus and your left with you move hanging low because you think she was gonna go in hard on that 3rd verse. This album is definitely a step up from the previous two and she has definitely proved that no one is taking her slot.

Free Music Review: Trina!! She Is Still Da Baddest B***h!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I am here to write another review for my girl Trina. I put this album on reserve way back in November of last year and trust I picked it up yesterday when it arrived. Man, this has to be her best album yet. Trina really let her fans know that no other Female in the South will ever take her title. She is still and always going be Da Baddest B***h. This album has some really great songs and she is doin' her thang from beginning to end. I think the only 2 songs I am not too fond about are tracks 12 & 13, but other than that, the rest is off da chain. Oh yeah, there are 3 bonus tracks on the album, but the only place that sells the cd with these 3 bonus tracks is Best Buy so get it while they are still available. To be honest, her bonus track called "I Got A Problem" is my favorite on the whole album. It may be on the raunchy side, but it just tells gives anybody all the details in any sexual fantasy. I have all 3 of her other albums (Da Baddest B***H, Diamond Princess & Glamorest Life) and if anybody out there has not bought anything from Ms. Trina, then you need to get with the program and get down with Da Baddest B***h alive. Oh and by the way, Khia, you ain't got s*** on my girl Trina. You had the nerve to even put a diss track out on her when at one point people thought you were dead. The only cd that was worth buying was the first one with just that one hit "My Neck, My Back". Yeah, your first cd was ok, but you are taking behind Queen Trina and even tried to take her title on your song "Jealous Girls" and call yourself da baddest b***h when you are not. But your second cd was HORRIBLE. You need to back off my girl and get it together. Yeah, I saw your little video on youtube and trust, you have lost all respect from me. Oh and one more thing. You are DEFINATELY NOT THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH OR DA BADDEST B***H, SO SWALLOW THAT. Trina, I have been a fan of yours since 1998 when you came out with Trick Daddy with "Nann N***a" and I am still and forever will be a fan of yours. Keep doing your thang baby. You have all of my support. Love Ya!!

Free Music Review: Lovin' It
Hit: 4 Stars

Trina has never dissapointed me when it comes to her cd's and she still hasn't. I'm lovin' the cd. Favorite Songs 1.) Look Back at Me 2.) Single Again 3.) Stop Traffic 4.) I Got A Problem(Best Buy extra song). I have all of cd's and I will continue to support her. Keep up the good work Trina!

Free Music Review: "I'm Hurricane Katrina, when it rains, it pours!"
Hit: 4 Stars

Trina released a very enjoyable album for April Fool's Day 2008! I thought her debut was decent, but not at all groundbreaking, so I thought this album would be along the lines of her debut, but oh no! It's a lot better. "Still Da Baddest" is definitely a solid album. Trina is still talking about sex, how pretty she is (and she is pretty), how great her sex is, and she reminds us that she's still "da baddest b****." Ironically, though, when I read her interviews, she does not come off as b****y at all. She seems to be a very kind, gentle and mature woman. I know there is another side, but it's nice to know that she is a sweetheart beneath the sassiness.

Up-beat tunes and good lyrics fill this album. Trina's delivery is as energetic and confident as ever, and trust me, you will be dancing and/or snapping at some point when listening to this album. Sure, this album is on the experimental side and Trina's voice serves as an annoyance because it is unusually high-pitched sometimes, but, as a unit, rap fans should be entertained by this LP. "Single Again" was the album's first release. The catchy hook will really help you get into this song, particularly its melody. Also, this is one of Trina's best songs lyrically. She apparently sat down and thought this song out before penning it. Nice beat, too. Trina is a product of Miami and it was a nice touch for her to speak with a southern drawl on "Killing You H***." In this song, Trina informs her listener that she is hot and these other women aren't on her level nor are they doing anything for her. Again, the beat is nice and the hook is alright as well. Pitbull lends his talents on "Stop Traffic." His voice is so easy to listen to and he adds flavor to the song. Every song on this album is at least decent, therefore, you can press play and listen to it from track one to track twelve.

Trina is definitely improving as a rapper. This is a really nice LP and is recommended by me. Continue progressing, Trina. You have a supporter in me.
