Free Music Notes for Inside OutFree Music Review: Sad and Beautiful! Hit: 5 Stars
Tired of the Faiths and the Shanias? Welcome to Trisha's world! She is, hands down, the best country singer around these days. Not as promoted as others, but so much better...her voice is deep and sad and so beautiful! She puts so much emotion into everything - without ever sounding over the top - that she should be revered not only by country music lovers but by music lovers everywhere. If you're thinking of buying your first Trisha CD, go for the Songbook, a very good compilation. Otherwise, try Inside Out, a great blend of romantic (my favorite ones) and more upbeat songs, that will leave you dreaming. She takes her time in preparing a new release, but the next one is supposed to be great, since her longtime friend, country music legend Garth Brooks, is writing the songs with her. I can't wait!

Ever since i heard "how do i live"i knew that Trisha yearwood wasn't just another country wannabe!with INSIDE OUT Trisha proves yet again that she is one of the shining stars on the country scene. 1 love alone - nice, upbeat song with an incredibly catchy chorus. 2 i would've loved you anywya-one of the best ballads on the album!a song that will pull at the strings of any hop 3 for a while-probably my least favourite song on the album.it has good lyrics though! 4 seven year ache - a great folksy number!can't call it a duet though! 5 i dont paint myself into corners anymore- great ballad with a shania twain like chorus! 6 harmless heart - probably the best song on the album!fave kyrics:you're the best at self-defence/yeah,you've mastered the art
Free Music Review: Trisha at her best Hit: 5 Stars
This album represents Trisha Yearwood at her best since "Thinking about You"- emotive without being too vocally flowery, country without being twangy, pop-lite without being commercial. The songs fit beautifully together, lead into each other and complement each other- and her choice of material is inspired. Her rendition of Rosanne Cash's "Seven Year Ache" is wonderful, respectful of the original but with its own unique flavor and emotion (and great backup assistance from Rosanne herself). The best fast track by far is Trisha's duet with Don Henley on the title cut- rich, throaty, tap your toes and sing out loud. The exceptional "Melancholy Blue" will raise goosebumps and bring tears to the eyes of all but the coldest of hearts. Rush to the store, you will not regret it.
Free Music Review: Inside Out Hit: 5 Stars
This is a wonderful, beautiful and absolutely stunning album by Trisha Yearwood. Like several Faith Hill songs, I expect many of these to get air time on the easy listening stations. (Why should "non-country" folks miss out on such a rare treat). This album has many beautiful ballads like "I Would Have Loved You Anyway" and "I Don't Paint Myself In Corners". When Trisha sings harmony aside the likes of Vince Gill, Don Henley and even Garth Brooks (who isn't on this album unfortunately), her talent is magnafied. Inside Out and Melancholy Blues are wonderful cross-over songs. Give this album a couple of plays through and I can honestly say that you'll probably be hitting the repeat button several times and singing harmony yourself! :)
Free Music Review: Brilliance...Absolute Brillance Hit: 5 Stars
Trisha Yearwood is showing every other two bit country bumpkin how it is done. "Inside Out" is an amazing album, surpassing last year's "Real Live Woman". Why? Well listen to the amazing "Melancholy Blue" and find out why-that is some crazy stuff. As always her voice is outstanding, I just love how she sings. It is something that should be granted it's own National and Bank Holiday. Brilliance is every form. The songs are this hybrid of country pop, Trisha doesn't play that way. This is country. Standout tracks? Well "Seven Year Ache", "Inside Out", "I Don't Paint Myself Into Corners", Second Chance", and the fab single "I Would Have Loved You Anyway"-the whole thing is perfect. Well produced and beautfully compiled. Bravo Ms. Yearwood!
