And then this soothing, melodic voice blasts out of the speakers and start to sing ON A BUS TO ST. CLOUD.
That's when i knew country female singers really do pour their hearts out when it comes to ballads, and Trisha does it better than anyone else.

I love all of the tracks...the Diane Warren-penned HOW DO I LIVE gives a pop flavour to the collection, THE SONG REMEMBERS WHEN and DOWN ON MY KNEES will bring tears to your eyes. PERFECT LOVE is a perfect uptempo song, the kind this album could use more of...
Just a hint for the fans: i got me the cd back here in europe and found out the european version has 5 extra tracks, nothing unreleased or new, but definitely more worthy when you think about the CD prices these days.
I am looking forward to the volume 2...maybe with more dance tunes?

I ONLY GAVE 4 STARS BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFULL THIS ALBUM CAN BE OVERAL DEPRESSING INSTEAD OF UPLIFTING. I KNOW THIS MAY SOUND CRAZY BUT SOME FAMILY MEMBERS AND I WERE ON A ROAD TRIP LETTING THIS ALBUM PLAY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AT SOME POINT SOMEONE SAID I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OF THAT BECAUSE IT IS TOO DEPRESSING, WHICH AT THAT TIME WE ALL AGREED. NOW WHEN I LISTEN TO ANY TRISHA YEARWOOD SONGS I MAKE SURE THE SONGS ARE THOROUGHLY MIXED WITH OTHER ARTISTS MUSIC TO AVOID THE OVERAL "DEPRESSING SYNDROME". I RECOMMEND MARTINA MCBRIDE, LISA BROKOP, LEANNE WOMAK OR EVEN SHANIA TWAIN OVER TRISHA YEARWOOD.Free Music Review: what a voice

How many times have I listened to this CD? Countless. It's just lovely. Whether you are heartbroken or madly in love, there's a song on here for you.....and Trisha's voice says more than her lyrics....just brilliant. My personal favorites are "How do I live?" and "Down on My Knees" both capture the longing we've all felt at some point in our lives.
