Free Music Review: Beyond The Veil is not as good as Widow's Weeds

Tristania's second opus is disappointing for me, in comparing with their amazing debut Widow's Weeds. It is too less varied, too monotone grunts and too less a share of the beautiful female vocals. However, it is still a (let's call it) not-bad metal CD, with some nice tracks: Lethean River (5) & Angina (8) are good Tristania songs. Despite my complaining about this album, I am sure that most fans of Gothic-Death metal will appreciate this album a lot.
