Free Music Notes for Come Poop with Me (CD & DVD)Free Music Review: WOW!! FUNNY AS ANYTHING OUT THERE Hit: 5 Stars
Triumph has created a classic. It's almost like going back in time and hearing a great old comedy album from the 50's or 60's. They used to call them "party albums", things like Allan Sherman or Belle Barth or Redd Foxx. Raunchier than on TV, but hysterical, catchy songs like "Underage Bichon", "Lick Myself", "Cats are..." will stick in your head like cotton candy. And there's great duets with Jack Black, Maya Rudolph, Adam Sandler, and the great Conan himself. The crank calls rocked, especially the Chinese Restaurant. Loved the DVD too. That's where the serious pooping starts. The Dell Guy especially runs headfirst into a poopstorm. The DVD alone was like an hour long! You can't miss with this one.
Free Music Review: She told me she was one! Hit: 5 Stars
I wasn't sure about buying this but then I heard it on NPR's 10 best list for 2003. Thanks, Triumph, for reviving a lost art, the foolish, bouncy, sing-along raunchy party album. "Lick Myself" - so clever and funny, an instant classic. "Underage Bichon" - saw you do this on TV, still holds up after all these dog years. Did Belafonte produce it? I swear that was his penny whistle and background singers. Thanks also for straightening me out about cats, and Benji, and the evil nut-chopping Bob Barker (big assist to Jack Black). And thanks for the funny as hell DVD. If only I'd been there to see the Dell Guy up close and drunk. Please come to my town and bring Delly (and Blackwolf, too!)
Free Music Review: For me to POOP on ... I love it! I don't KEED! Hit: 5 Stars
This is a brilliant piece of work, and you get a CD and DVD! The performances are almost the same - both the CD and DVD are recorded live during a stage show. You hear the audience laughing, and it's hard not to join in. Mainly these are songs or bits aimed at ... surprise!... insulting celebrities. Funnier still many of them show up to be made fun of. Kurt Loder, Jack Black, Jared from Subway, The Dell computer guy, and even CONAN himself ... O'Brien not the sword guy. It's funny funny funny ... and oh yes, filthy too. Not exactly for the kids or puppies, but 15 and up should have a ball!!! No keeding! This is great!
Free Music Review: A Classic Hit: 5 Stars
Yes, it's dirty humor and not for everyone, but anyone who has seen Triumph work his magic on Emimem and the crowd waiting in line to see Star Wars: AOTC knows what to expect--and they love him for it. If you are one of those who thinks Triumph is a riot, then you won't be disappointed with "Come Poop with Me." The Big Dog is in rare form here and takes no prisoners. With great comedy albums coming out in recent years by Adam Sandler, Jimmy Fallon, Lewis Black, et al, are we seeing a new Golden Age of Comedy Albums? If "Come Poop With Me" is any indication, yes, we are.
Free Music Review: Awesome Album Hit: 5 Stars
This is just an awesome album. I have been a triumph fan for years and this is as good as it gets. I don't know how anyone could not laugh at this. I am sure any Conan fan will appreciate this and I think everyone else will too. Oh wait... there is that guy who said that Robert Smigel is too ugly to "show his appearance" on tv and is not good enough to make Eminem laugh at VMA as well. Besides lacking a firm grasp of the English language this reviewer also has no sense of humor... if he even did listen to the album. That was a great review..... For me to poop on!
