I have a hard time really getting into this bands' music. It is not bad music, it's just that there are so many other bands out there that I would rather listen to. i listen to this album and it brings to mind both metallica and testament. yes they dropped the metalcore get up. and thank god! its a really good record in my opinion. the riffs just keep getting better. Free Music Review: Trivium's worst album

I thought Ascendancy was one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. I couldn't expect The Crusade to improve upon it because it was nearly perfect, however, I didn't expect it to be so much worse. It has a few good songs, but their genre completely changes. I like 80's thrash, but Trivium isn't meant to do it.Free Music Review: Old school metal at it's finest

Like many reviewers have stated, this is a cross between Metallica, Testament & Megadeth. I just heard theses guys yesterday since my son bought this and I must say, being a teenager back in the 1980's when bands like Metallica , Testament & Megadeth were just coming out, listening to this brought back some great memories. Too bad music couldn't have stayed like this..this is the best new stuff I've heard since those day's.Free Music Review: Outstanding

This record is Sick ! Pure thrash metal at it's finest ! To The Rats, Becoming The Dragon, Tread The Floods. I can't get enough of Contempt Breeds Contamination - just incredible !
