Free Music Review: One Of Twiztid's Best Yet...
Hit: 5 Stars
In my opinion, this is one of Twiztid's best albums to date (behind the debut and Freak Show). I'm a fan of rock/metal music, so naturally i'm more into the rock elements that Twiztid fuse into their music. In fact, the only "rap" I listen to is Psychopathic. That being said, I must admit that this cd was a pleasant suprise. When I first heard that Twiztid were making one rap oriented album and one rock oriented album, I was worried. I figured the rock elements that Twiztid would fuse into this album would ultimately fall flat. Not that Twiztid's past rock oriented songs are bad (quite the contrary), but making most of the album rock oriented was taking a risk. If you're like me and listen to Psychopathic artists because they are a fresh "break" from the usual metal music that you listen to, then give this album a chance. I promise you, you'll be suprised.

Mutant (Vol. 2) is the next stage of a search begun in pursuit of Man's Myth (Vol. 1). It's the hybrid beast created when toxic thoughts meet the toughest talk. It's loud sounds and an even louder point of view. All the confusion and infusion that fuels the Myth comes to a head in the mind of Mutant. Some have covered these topics before, but never like this. with the first volume they used their heads, with Volume 2 they loose their souls.
