As promised, I got this as soon as it was released. The end result is that this is a slamming LIVE album!!! The key to understanding the essence of true musicality is to experience it up close and personal. Tye Tribbett & G.A. along with the finesse and power of Sound Check (Tye's band) have escalated the gospel pass the other level. What's amazing about this concept is how Tye & G.A. are able to blend the traditional style with the edgy, urban sound. Not many new artists can pull that off. The album emphatically begins with Tye doing voice as himself, a boxer, a trainer, and also as a ring announcer introducing the fight between the "Accuser of the Brethren" (Satan) and the "Redeemed of the Lord." This is an original and very crafty skit. As it posts, "I Want It All Back" is properly placed to explore the continuing skirmish between the enemy and God's people. In true Tye-style, the song is energetic, includes some expressive rock undertones and a barrage of universal cliches like, "Give me my stuff back." Instant personal connection with the audience. As the opening remains great, Andrae Crouch's "Bless The Lord" (masterfully arranged) and "Hallelujah To Your Name," which features a well-organized flute solo by Delandria Mills, sparks a devastating onslaught of praise. "Everything Will Be Alright" is one of best songs on this album. Its sensational lyrical content, dazzling musical fluidity and of course, Tye's animation is awe-inspiring. It also features a return appearance by Kim Burrell and her timely trademarked vocal runs. WOW!!! The praise party continues with the confessional "Sinking," "No Other Choice," the worship ballads "G.A. Hymn (Who Else But God)," "Seated At The Right Hand of God," the praiseworthy cuts "Still Have Joy," "1-2 (Victory Check)" and the smash single, "Victory." No doubt, the album is triumph. It was mixed and mastered to perfection and never ceases to lose its energy and zest. Get your copy today and your victory shall be assured!!
