Free Music Notes for Least Worst ofFree Music Review: An Essential Hit: 5 Stars
OK i wasnt sure whether to buy this album right off, the day it came out but i decided what the hell. And so i went and got it and from the minute i saw it to the present (it's still in the stereo) i've been aroused. i urge all of you closet type o fans to go out and treat yourself, and obviously the hardcore fans as well. This is such a classic...it's sort of a bummer that they had to do edit versions of most of the previously released songs, but the originals and remixes more than make up for it. Besides, as it is the CD is about 80 minutes. I think the absolute highlights are "Hey Pete", an adaptation of "Hey Joe", which goes directly into "Everyone Dies." Unlike many other bands, I think Type O may be at the top of their game so to speak by the sound of the new songs (FIVE of them!!!). Buy it quickly and enjoy.
Free Music Review: Greatest Hits Hit: 5 Stars
Type O Negative have been around for ten years and now bless us with a "Greatest Hits" record. But wait, that's not all. Not only does it include all the popular songs, but rare, unreleased and remixed tracks as well. What a bargain! The three "new" songs; 12 Black Rainbows, Stay out of my Dreams, and It's Never Enough, are faster and less doomy than most of the songs off World Coming Down--their last album--thus proving some relief from the otherwise morbid songs on this album. Stand out tracks also include the studio version of "Hey Pete", the remix of "Cinnamon Girl" and the Trash Metal-Thug Opera-Mini Epic "Unsuccessfully Coping With the Natural Beauty of Infidelity". In short, this is a welcome addition whether you a casual or die hard Type O Negative fan.
Free Music Review: A must have for for Type O Fans........ Hit: 5 Stars
Well the Boys from Brooklyn are back.... and once again no matter how many times you listen to these same songs they never get old. Being a Type O fan for years, of course I am biased. But if you really want to hear a band that delievers all its moodiness and dark melancoly and often expressing it in humorous and sarcastic ways, then you must own this CD. The new tracks on this fit right in with the "old" ones....Uncessfully Coping, Love you to Death, Everyone I love is dead, Stay out of my dreams, bring this to a must own. I have seen the band a numerous times and they have never disappointed me... niether did this CD.... its a must own for all Type O fans..along with those who are not afraid of the dark.......
Free Music Review: Defenetly.. the Best Hit: 5 Stars
I gotta say it - if this CD doesn't win this band some new fans I'm not sure what will! This is probably the best complelation that could possibly have been put together. I bought it the day it came out and eagerly consumed the new tracks and really enjoyed the "classics". Peter and the guys really outdid themselves with the new and unusual stuff that just isn't avaliable to anyone without a swiss bank account... and an account on Ebay. I was very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to any individual that takes metal to heart. Managed to make me laugh as well - in their typical self-depricating style. It's a winner.
Free Music Review: Definitely "The Least Worst Of" Hit: 5 Stars
A collection of pretty much all of Type O's greatest hits...although most are butchered or remixes there's really nothing to complain about...as if they were to put the full lengths on here the cd would be over 2 hours long! They still put the 13 minute "Unsuccessfully Coping..." on here...and some catchy new songs like "It's Never Enough" Which sounds like it should be covered by Deicide sometime..."**** YOU GOD!" Heh...all in all this is a fantastic walk through the park...all that is negative...and the new songs and remixes make this worth your $$$$.
