Free Music Notes for Slow Deep & Hard

Free Music Review: Possibly not the best Type O Negative album....
Hit: 5 Stars

.... but without a doubt my favorite. Something about this one really hooks me. All the songs are in the same key, Peter Steele screams his throat raw, the sound quality is abysmal, and several songs go on much too long. But, I still love it. It's got a raw, unkempt quality that keeps it engrossing... a great CD to just kick back and smoke a cigarette to. My favorite would have to be "Der Untermensch". Highly, highly recommended.

Free Music Review: Where Carnivore Left Off
Hit: 5 Stars

If any of you like hadcore, then this is the only album you should get from ToN. I couldn't stop listening to this album at first, and couldn't get enough of it.
The sound of this band is unique, and which band isn't, because not every band has a bass harmonizer. I also pictur a lot of things when I listen to this album, and you will too. I shall damn those who rate this album under 5*.
Get this if you know whats good for you!

Free Music Review: Well it sure is...
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is Type O at their rawest. I adore their later stuff but this is great as well and should appeal to all true Type O fans. The harsh pain that Pete felt when writing this slashes through the more romantic image of the band that they have later acquired and slaps you in the face on this, their first and in some ways most powerful album. Get it. Get it now.

Free Music Review: interesting roots for such a pretty sounding band
Hit: 5 Stars

if you are really into 'Bloody Kisses' or 'October Rust' (which are both great albums) it isn't definite you are really going to enjoy 'Slow Deep and Hard'. and if you don't i understand, cuz there are quite different. but don't get dissapointed when you find out that Peter and Co. can produce such annoying noise. a lovely album all around.

Free Music Review: Best Type O Negative Album
Hit: 5 Stars

While October Rust and Bloody Kisses were both fine examples of Peter Steele and company's writing and composing, they just weren't HEAVY enough for me. On the other hand, Slow, Deep and Hard has FEELING behind it's heavy guitars, and staining vocals. By far the best TON has to offer.
