Free Music Review: Type O churns it out better than ever
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been a Type O fan for many years now, and I love all the albums. This new one is SUPERB! When I first got it, I just sat in the dark, and listened to it beginning to end. It is extremely powerful. The band sounds incredible, the songs are really well-written, and the lyrics are extremely deep and moving. "World Coming Down" is possibly the most sad and depressing song I have ever heard. "Everyone I Love is Dead," "Creepy Green Light," and "All Hallow's Eve" are my favorite songs. An outstanding album that combines elements of SDAH, BK and OR, plus all kinds of new sounds. Stay negative.

Free Music Review: I started with World Coming Down
Hit: 5 Stars

Yes,WCD was my first Type O album and I am working backwards.I later picked up October Rust and will collect the rest in time. I heard the title track from radio play and I was hooked. The same week it debuted on the radio I bought it and devoured it. Why hadn't I heard of these guys before? Anyway I'm glad I did. As an older metal fan(35),I love the grinding emotional saga of each song ,which is filled with illustrious music. It seems to me that Type O may have picked up where Pink Floyd,Zepplin, and Black Sabbath left off. Might I add that I just saw them live on October 27th,2000 and they were awesome.

Free Music Review: Type O Negative reinvents themselves again.
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great album. Every song on this cd is strong. Peter's vocals are very dynamic and Kenny, Josh and Johnny are at their best. The best thing about Type O Negative is that every album they put out is different from their last. World Coming Down is more riff oriented than October Rust but not as much as Bloody Kisses. Its sort of a mixture of the two with little hints of their first album. If you were big on October Rust or Bloody Kisses and expecting something similar you'll probably have to give this album a couple of listens before you really start to appreciate it. I definitely recommend it.

Free Music Review: Best Type O yet...
Hit: 5 Stars

This album, can be described as an amalgamation of Bloody Kisses... and October Rust. It's slower than both.. real "dirge-y". Some songs have the chorus hooks that made October Rust so popular.. but then some delve into slower, darker territory. I can't wait to hear these songs cranked in a live setting! Some of the best trax include: Everyone I Love Is Dead, Everything Dies, and especially Creepy Green Light. Makes me want to light candles, drink some merlot, put on this disc and bed a young, volumptuous red-head. Just in time for Halloween kiddies... Hail Peter! Hail Hellfire!

Free Music Review: Type O Rocks the House!!??
Hit: 5 Stars

I got an advance of this album @ the end of July and I have not put it away since. The songs have some serious changes that come out from nowhere. The music is tight and complex. There is some humor, but also some shocking news to people who think they can live forever -"Everything Dies"- I have been listening to Type O for a while, but I have never been this impressed with any of their albums. Give it a try, it's one of the best albums I've heard all year! Even people who aren't normally fans should be able to appreciate the intricacy of this album!
