Free Music Review: Pushing The Edge Once More Hit: 5 StarsFor starters I can't believe that over twenty years have gone by since U2 planted their flag on the world with "The Joshua Tree". I was always lukewarm towards this group but this special limited edition brought me into the fold. Although I believe its over priced by at least $10.00, I applaud the serious work that went into this beautiful package. This should be the standard by which reissues should be measured.
Free Music Review: Could I be happier? Hit: 5 StarsTo answer that question.....NO...it was delivered in the time frame I was given,it was packaged and undamaged.....and the simple fact it was U2 made it TOO good a deal to pass up....Beautifully priced,2 CD's,1 LIVE DVD,bonus pictures of the Joshua Tree Photo Shoot and a Book of the Band with more Photos and Lyrics to the songs to go with it....all brand new and fits nicely into One Box so you dont misplace any of it.....thankyou,from a very Happy U2 FAN....
Free Music Review: It's a great investment but not all it's cracked up to be! Hit: 3 StarsI'm sure that this product will be worth something in years to come but it's not all that brilliant. the prints are lovely but are images you've bound to have seen before. The DVD of the live action on the Joshua Tree tour is really good. There's nothing much special about the B sides if you already own a copy of the 'Where the Streets have no name' single! The presentation box is wonderful and the book is cute. This product has potential to be of value as the years go by - it is nice to add to the collection. But don't expect too much because your'll be disappointed!
Free Music Review: Better sound quality! Hit: 5 StarsThe remastered version sounds much better than the previous issue of this, I heard new chords & sounds in the mix I'd never noticed before. The second CD is OK, the DVD of the Paris concert is not by today's standards but is OK as a historical piece.
