Free Music Review: Worth every penny!
Hit: 5 Stars

I got this as a gift for my husband - I loved every aspect of this, including the way it was packaged! I was very happy and so was my husband!
Thanks!

Free Music Review: Remastered Edition is a Winner!
Hit: 5 Stars

For over 20 years I've been an avid fan of U2 and I don't see this changing anytime soon. The remastered Super Deluxe Edition is a keeper.
If you want to get closer to the band, this edition masters this and allows an introspect of each of the individual members.

I have the original Joshua Tree when it was first released, and comparing to the remastered edition - the quality is so much better.

It was well worth the cost, especially with the added bonus of viewing their 1987 concert in Paris.

Enjoy!

Free Music Review: U2 Jushua Tree Remastered Box Set
Hit: 5 Stars

Excellent box set! The Paris concert DVD is a great look at the band when they were comming into their own. The bonus audio CD with the B sides is great. And of course, the remastered album is wonderful. I think this is a must have for any U2 fan !!!

Free Music Review: A landmark album from one of the biggest bands in music today
Hit: 4 Stars

The Good
To celebrate 20 years since its release, U2 repackage their land mark 1997 album. The newly packaged album features a bonus disc of b-side and unreleased material, plus an in-depth booklet with lyrics and liner notes by The Edge. The Joshua Tree not only sent U2 spiraling into the stratosphere, it spawned numerous hits that even the casual fans are sure to recognize; "Where the Streets Have No Name," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "With or Without You," and "Bullet the Blue Sky." And of course, there are also the slower, deeper album tracks that the true fans enjoy.

The main selling point of the release is the bonus disc of b-sides and unreleased studio sessions. If I'm being completely honest, most songs are unreleased and b-sides for a reason. However, there are a few hidden gems. "Spanish Eyes" has a nice melody and groove to it. Bono is seductive in his delivery. "Silver & Gold" has a funky drum beat that matches nicely with the sweet guitar tone. There's also a stripped down version of this track. A rough mix of "The Sweetest Thing" is sure to raise and eyebrow and will make you appreciate the final version that was released later. The session material ranges from promising song fragments to indulgent art pieces to just plain strange. The thick album booklet is very well-done.

The Bad
I would classify the bonus disc as "for collectors only."

The Verdict
The Joshua Tree truly does stand the test of time. A landmark album from one of the biggest bands in music today.
