Free Music Review: Much better than what the majority says

I just don't get all the hate that this album has received. Listening to it the first time, I was not as thrilled as I hoped to be, but after a few listens, I fell in love. I find this happens for just about any album I buy, no matter who the artist is. This is great U2 music. It's got elements from most of their albums over the years, and it's definitely a must-have for your collection. I think the problem is that most fans (and they're probably predominantly Joshua Tree fans) are going into this album expecting a near-clone of those albums, so of course, they are highly disappointed that it doesn't sound like them. But I encourage you to give it a whirl anyway...maybe a handful of times, and I'm pretty sure you will fall in love with this work as well. ---Maybe not as much as you did with The Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby, but you'll still love it.Free Music Review: Waste of effort

Not worth borrowing for free, I'm afraid. I disagree with Amazon's 4/5 on All that you can't leave behind. I found that album great, but maybe because I was relieved it was better than its previous one. Still, this and their last album. Just not any good.
U2, stop making music, it's time now. We don't want to hear anymore of it. You simply have lost the magic and two dud albums in a row proves you won't get it back. After Pop I was concerned, but you returned. Now? No chance. Just give it up, you had a good run.

Some really good songs like Magnificent, Moment of Surrender, and I'll Go Crazy..., but the rest is just okay not the typical great U2 music. Unknown Caller could have been better. U2 has a non released song called "Mercy". This song is GREAT, Inspiring, a possible Number 1 chart topping song from the the time How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb came out. But they did not include it in that cd nor this one. Why? It's a great song! You can view it on youtube. Hopefully they will include Mercy on the next one. If you love U2 music you will still like this cd. They are still the Best damn band on this planet.Free Music Review: Yawn

Great band, just saw the concert for No Line on the Horizon. The best songs are: Magnificent, Unknown Caller, and Breathe. Moment Of Surrender has good lyrics. However, as an album most songs just exist and are quite "skip-able". Even in concert, you could feel the energy die down when one of these other songs were played..like Get On Your Boots. Yawn. I like their older stuff from Rattle & Hum back. This was a good effort though. Great band. Did you see the rant during the presidential inauguration? It was during the song Pride.
