"The Unforgettable Fire" is a disappointing follow-up to their prior release, the sensational "War." There's not much on this album to recommend it as much of what's on here is bland and uninspiring, save "Wire" and the title track. A better alternative would be to get the video of this album as it shows what a creative force U2 was in the mid-1980's.
