Great product. The sound quality on all three albums is superb. Plus, it is nice to get extra live tracks and demo versions of these great U2 songs and the b-sides.
Lastly, the essays, contained for each album are really insightful as to where the band was at that particular moment in their career.
For those U2 fans who really enjoy the pre-Joshua Tree music, you should definitely buy this collection!

This box set is such an incredible lookback to u2 early's that shows since the start (out of control, boy/girl like hard sound) to the progression and almost integrity as a rock band with War.
I recomended this box set to anyone because has a complete setlisting of B-sides, demos, and live recordings from this era, besides, the package plus the poster are really good stuff! thanxs Amazon!

Let me tell you that if you are a new U2 fan You must get this collection. The reason is that it is included one of the best records of the band and it is October. I do not understand why they did not perform more songs from this excellent record. The price for this boxset is worth it for the bonus cd's alone with some songs and a single that were hard to get before ("A Celebration" on the October bonus cd) although the Boy, War and October remasters sound great!!! There's a more fuller richer sound with a bit more power to the base sound. If you like U2 you must update your collection with this.Free Music Review: GREAT DEAL/BARGAIN!!!

I was not going to buy these for $30 a pop at my local record store...but a boxed set for the price of 2? Count me in. The box is great and holds the three double disc sets PLUS the new Live 2 disc set. It LOOKS like it was a fortune. Thanks Amazon for making deals like this and helping folks pick up collectors sets for CHEAP. Keep on keepin.
