Free Music Notes for Underground KingzFree Music Review: Didn't leave up Hit: 2 StarsI definitely wasn't impress with the c.d. Pimp c is waying down bun b. double cd which the songs starting sounding alike
Free Music Review: It's UGK what more can u say!!! Hit: 5 StarsIt's been put back since last year but it finally came out this summer n I liked both cds just go get it
Free Music Review: Best Rap CD of 2007 Hit: 5 StarsI must preface this review by saying that I've never been a fan of either Bun B or Pimp C before buying this cd. After buying this CD, I was blown away by how much I loved both of these rappers. Their voices flow perfectly over the beats throughout this record. Every song on this cd is good if not great. I recently bought the 50/Kanye cds and after about 3 days of listening to them, I immediately went back to Underground Kingz. My favorite songs are:
Int'l Players Anthem
Grind Hard
The Game Belongs To Me (great chorus!)
Quit Hatin' The South
How Long can It Last (amazing!)
and that's just off the top of my head. There are plenty more that are great on the album. I would have thought a cd with 26 tracks would have some filler, but it truly doesn't. You can listen to this cd from front to back and not get tired of it in the slightest. I highly recommend this cd to anyone looking for something fresh in the rap game. These guys have been together for over 15 years and they still sound amazing!
Free Music Review: They did it Again Hit: 5 StarsI have been a fan of UGK since 1993 and I am so glad my boys have still kept it real and the same as they've always have. Bun B is one of the best lyricists of the south hands down and Pimp C well the name says it all cause his mouthpiece is always spittin. If you anyone haven't listen to them from the beginning I would suggest you pick up there cds. Start with Ridin Dirty. It's a cd you will ride to without skipping a track for sure like most of the cd's they've made.
Free Music Review: Country Rap Tunes!!! Hit: 3 StarsO.K. I have listened to this cd about 4 times since it came out...I am ready to review it now. When I first got it I was not feelin it, I mean how much more dope, h**s, and money can I really listen too. Then around the 3rd time listening I caught a glimpse of hope....it has a lot of hidden gems on here once u get pass all the filler tracks.
Lyrically it is nothing new, I can tell as with most rappers that time has caught up with them. This is why I think they should have made this one cd because I see the potential for a 4 star rating if some of these tracks was on one album. I can tell they are trying to please the "major" crowd while trying to keep their "undaground" fans. This is a good buy, (just for "Quit Hatin the South" alone) but somethings missing I can't put my finger on it. Hotep!!!
