I bought this CD while I was pregnant and played it as much as I could for my unborn child. My husband and I loved listening to it and now that my son is 3 months he LOVES it too. In fact I play this CD for him at bedtime while I nurse him and he just passes out! It's a permanent part of his routine now, my husband plays this for him during the day if he gets cranky and it really helps soothe him, I guess because he recognizes it from when he was in mommy's belly. I bought this CD when I was pregnant with my first son. I started listening to it consistently, especially since I was on bedrest. Fast forward 6 years, and he now still asks to listen to his "baby music" for bedtime, and we own many, many clasical CD's, even ones that claim to boost your babies' intelligence! I even asked him if he remembered listening to this CD while in my tummy, and he answered, "Of course, Mommy!" I listened to this CD endlessly during labor and delivery of my son and during my terrible Atlanta commute to work while expecting. This is the most relaxing CD. Every nurse that entered my room while in labor loved it too. I didn't use an ounce of the 11 hours of childbirth prep class - this CD got me through all the labor pains! I have a 6 month old daughter. I first purchased this CD when I was pregnant and would place my earphones on my belly for her to listen. I now use it in her room at bedtime and I absolutely love it. I have a collection of other CD's, but honestly this is my favorite. It is a very nice blend of songs. It is soothing for baby and parents. I played this cd when I was carrying my son. He is now three and is very smart. He even knows how to add...with his fingers, of course. I think this cd has something to do with it. It's soothing to listen to when you're in bed. I think the baby reacts to it too. There is one song that is a bit louder and at times startles me if I had fallen asleep but overall a great cd.
