I have enjoyed this cd thus far. If you have the money to spend, this is relaxing and enjoyable, however you can get similar music for free on your local classical station. So if you would rather save your money...just tune in on your radio dial. I really like this CD. The music was very uplifting and soothing at the same time...I play it for my fetal son every night before bed with headphones that I stick onto my belly. This cd is good if you don't own a lot of classical music already. My husband and I do, but this cd is still more on the mellow side of the rest of our collection. What's good is that all of these pieces are light.Free Music Review: Elevator Music

While this CD is a nice idea, it isn't really that enjoyable! The reproductions of the featured classical pieces sound more like elevator music and have become annoying to me. I have searched for music that I can play for baby while I am pregnant and continue to play after she is born. While the collection of music seems good (and similar to many other collections for newborns and babies in utero), the specific recordings are about the most boring renditions I've heard. Classical music isn't necessarily supposed to be relaxing, and I bought this CD on the implication that it is meant to stimulate my unborn child's mind. Can it be doing that while I, the mother, am bored out of my brain? I'd rather find more dynamic recordings, or play the entite opera or symphony, than force myself to listen to this homogenized collection.
