This is the original motion picture soundtrack that won the grand prize in 1966 at the Cannes Film Festival. I saw this movie in 1968 and I still have the record album! (Who can part with great music and French besides???)I am so happy to have this CD that I can play in my car and elsewhere as I no longer possess a turntable for the LP. OK, it is 40 years old, but still the only real adult movie love story. Caught it in a Cinema in Tottenham Court Road, London with new girl friend in 1970. Wow. We loved it. (Sequal not so good by the way). The original has it all, friends, love , cars, kids, France, lots of silences, caring, sadness and JOY.
