Free Music Review: Sweet!!
Hit: 4 Stars

Whoa! This one is very different from the punk/pop/screamo T.O.C.S. From the very first song you can tell this is more of a Screamo only album. I loved the sound they brought to the table off of their previous release, but this album rocks way harder. It's SICK! For any other band 5 stars, but for the amazing Underoath 4 stars.

Free Music Review: Very solid, not their best.
Hit: 4 Stars

I don't care what anyone says, TOCS is and probably always will be UnderOath's best record. Saftey single-handedly changed the way I listen to music forever, and I don't think there ever has been or ever will be a band who can pull off music as aggressive and accessible as uO did with TOCS. From the anthemic sound of Reinventing Your Exit to the sheer brutality of Ten Friends, Safety was a complete listen.

Define The Great Line is different, but somewhat. It still has some of the melody of the previous effort, and whether intentional or not, the songs still feel anthemic in a way. Thankfully too, there's no slow-tempo metal posing either (as I feared there would be with Adam D working the dials), keeping things pretty consistant with the Screamo/Hardcore sound. For all of this though, DTGL is still a much heavier, less accessible record than TOCS, which actually crossed over into the mainstream at the height of it's success.

If you're a hardcore Uo fan, or a screamo/core fan in general you'll find a lot to enjoy to here. It just won't be as much as with TOCS.

Free Music Review: Unreal
Hit: 5 Stars

This is, without a doubt, one of the best albums ive ever heard. This cd will blow your mind from beginning to end. It is far different from the previous albums released by Underoath. It is heavier hitting, the instrument work is much more complex, and the vocal work is overall astounding. If your an Underoath fan, and you dont own this album, PICK IT UP.

Free Music Review: ridiculous!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This cd is absolutely ridiculous from beginning to end...Every song is unique and the album flow is awesome!!! This is 10 stars out of 5!!

Free Music Review: very good, but not as good as their only chasing saftey
Hit: 4 Stars

This album marks underoath's third mainstream album release. It has a heavier feel to it then their last one. Arron's singing time is cut down.
so track by track:
track 1: nice guitar riff opening it has a nice blend of screaming and regular singing. 5/5
track 2: This was not one of my favorites kinof just sounds like noise to me. 3/5
track 3: pretty well done another good blend of screaming and singing.
4/5
track 4: intricate guitar works help this song to be another hit. 5/5
track 5: this osng feels to me to be like a breather or a break from all the crazyness earlier. 3/5
track 6: In this song underoath sounds the closest to as i lay dying then they ever will. but they dont come that close. still one of my favorites. very good guitar work. 5/5
track 7: this song is slow going at first, but if you wait it out it gets a whole lot better. 4/5
track 8: fast and catchy song. 4/5
track 9: one of their big hits starts off slow and then gets better to discuss some very important issues. 5/5
track 10: i dont think this song was necessary for the album. 3/5
track 11: the only other slow song on the album. A very nice ballad to end the album. 5/5

This album is about all the bad things in life and how we have to look past them to see the good.
