Free Music Notes for Unleashed AlbumFree Music Review: album of the year!! Hit: 5 StarsIf "Unleashed" doesn't earn Toby an Album of the Year award, I don't know what will! This is great from beginning to end. First rate music from a first rate artist. But what makes Toby such a great artist is his unwillingness to compromise his beliefs. I'm very glad that "The Angry American" is on here (Its my second favorite track, after "Beer for my Horses"). I know that I was angry after the 11th, and I'm glad Toby wrote the song and gave millions of other "Angry Americans" like me a voice. I was furious at Peter Jennings for taking Toby off of the 4th of July special (Jennings, in my opinion, has no right to host an American special anyway...he's a Canadian and, obviously, a close-minded one at that for not giving another equally valid opinion airtime.). A lot of Americans felt the same way as Toby after the 11th, and to ignore the existence of the "Angry" opinion is nothing more than tyranny of the elite hyper-liberal minority who say that America deserved what happened on the 11th (I go to a very liberal school, where I hear ignorant propaganda like that every day.) "The Angry American" shows why the rest of the world hates us--We're strong enough to stand up for our principles and to say what we really believe. It shows that, as Americans, we are willing to fight for our freedoms. THAT is what almost every other country in the world lacks. They're so concerned with maintaining the status quo of peace that they view any mention or use of force as bad. The unfortunante thing is that America is becoming more and more like these obsolete, cowardly nations. Teddy Roosevelt was right when he said that "The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, and peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life." Toby's songs, especially "The Angry American" and "Beer for my Horses", are excellent reminders and reinforcers of that message. Once again, I'm proud to be an American.
