This album was written a year before I was born. It was the first record I ever heard by Uriah Heep and it caught me forever the very first time I listened to it. No doubt this is the best Rock album ever written. Just listen to the very personal bass playing by Gary Thain, the heavy keyboards by Ken Hensley, David Byron's powerful voice and Mick Box's tasteful guitarr arrangements.My favourites from this record are Circle of Hands and Paradise/The Spell. Heep are most famous for Ken Hensley's hammond organ, but please take a moment to sit down and listen to Gary Thain's bass playing in e.g. Circle of Hands. Every time I listen to this record I discover something new -- and believe me, I've listened to it quite many times!
