The songs are classic masterpiece in their 70's hey day, check out them like easy living, wizard,Sweet lorraine, kiss of the spider woman, sweet lorraine, stealing, dreamer etc......what a goldies collection it is!
this old band is also good as Led Zeppelin, Purple, Black Sabbath in the 70's rock classic era. Long ago the
American journalist at the rolling stone Melissa Mills said that I will rather to commit suicide than listening to this band.
Yes Melissa Mills was a fool poor journalist,....she didn't know how good this band is!
In fact that URIAH HEEP sold out their albums/recordings worldwide 30 million albums !! well you know this now,....Is

SOlid release by Heep, a band that always produced a lot of somewhat "slicky" records. DEMONS & WIZARDS was their great breakthrough, but the band slowly went into numeral members changes (more than 30 - yes, thirty!!) musicians passed through their rankings in their long career, when MIck Box assumed control (like Iommi did in Black Sabbath). DEMONS was their fourth album, released in 1972, and displayed some foolish fantasy lyrics, but a general great sound. The singer, David Byron, is simple amazing, altough his voice can be a little bit annoying sometimes.Free Music Review: TRuly fine, but beware!!!

DEMONS & WIZARDS is really a classic album, but, judging byu the reviews below, people think it is the ultimate master piece of heavy rock. ?t's not true. Why? First, because much of the album relies on acustic guitars!! that's it: acustic guitars all the way. Second, sometimes the band seem to be cloning Deep Purple. THird: Lee Kerslake's drums have a totally outdated sound. The time the record was made (1972) is no excuse for that, because other contemporart artists (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Sabbath) had not this weak drums sound.After these observations were made, what we have in hands is a great album.

Demons & Wizards is one of the two best Uriah Heep albums because it manages to be engaging without losing any of the intensity that Heep were capable of. Ken Hensley was the heart of this band, and his compositions, while simplistic, manage to create small worlds. An artifact of its time, D & W is fun to listen to.Free Music Review: all my life

this is one of those cds(albums)that i fell in love with the minute i heard it 28 years ago.to this day i still love it!every song on it is great!all the members of the band are at the top of their game on this one.david byrons vocals are awesome!there is no filler .each song leads you to the next one and leaves you wanting more."love came by and touch me,and kissed me so long."the album cover HAS to go down as one of the all time classics ,perfect picture for the music that is on the cd(record).the imagery and lyrics meld together perfectly with the music.mick box's guitar on the opening song the wizard is sooo good and his use of the slide on circle of hands sends shivers down the spine.the chemistry of the whole band works together and created this masterpiece!i will love you all my life!if you dont have this one ,dont walk run to the keyboard to order it!
