I'm an adult and I'm not an Usher fan but I really like this CD. Once you delete that dumb azz "Yeah!" song you actually have a rather pleasant R&B listening experience from this punk. I hate to admit it but this album is very good.
As for the cry babies who wonder why the CD was re-released with extra songs and re-mixes it's because the record company knew that the "original" should have done a lot better so they tweaked it and came back with a better product. I for one am glad they did. I am happy with my purchse.

Usher has a bit of talent, but I wouldn't put him up there with Ne-Yo or Corinne Bailey Rae. He makes music for the masses.
I like to call his genre Pop/R&B. He does the slow, sad love songs sometimes, but he usually (well, lately) sticks with the more upbeat grooves.
And this disc isn't short on that.
It just lacks substance sometimes.
My favorite tracks are the following:
Throwback (Hot, HOT beat)
Burn
Caught Up
Red Light
And I don't enjoy the song on a whole, but the initial runs on Superstar are fantastic! The beat also possesses a dreamy, and somewhat hypnotizing beat. You can just relax to it.
While some of these songs ARE good, I can't help but get the feeling that it's more filler material than you know what to do with!

Do you want music that doesn't take itself too seriously?
Did you just lose the love of your life?
Do you just want to kick back and relax?
Do you like it when a guy croons a falsetto note?
Then you should buy this album.
If not, then don't.

I never was a crazy Usher fan. Even the first single "Yea" wasnt what made me run out and buy the cd. It was once i heard "Burn" i thought let me give "Urrsher" a chance. This cd by far is the best yet. From start to finish. I dont even have a favorite song on it because there all good. Free Music Review: Confessions

Confessions from Usher is his best work yet. It give you the slow and the fast tempo that a music lover like me needs to hear.
