Free Music Notes for ConfessionsFree Music Review: Michael Jackson wannabe... Hit: 1 Stars Usher is nothing but a mix of MJ and James Brown in a bad way. He writes generic below average music and yets sells records thanks to the idiots at MTV that calls this overhyped album a classic. Please. Listen to "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye or "Songs in the Key of Life" by stevie Wonder and tell who's writing real music and who's selling music with garbage lyrics. Usher is not original and alot of ppl think he is.
Free Music Review: Why do they keep doing this? Hit: 2 StarsWhat's funny is that Confessions is actually a great album. I listen to it just about everyday. It has a good, smooth r&b feel to it. Every track has its own individual sound. I love it. But after spending about $16.00 on the original release, why on earth would I go out and buy the same album again just for three extra tracks. It really is pointless if you think about it. It's just a sneaky way for record labels to get more money...and it really urks me. This is why so many teenagers today download music--because of silly BS like this. Seriously. Why would I pay $16 for the same CD twice?
But at the same time, if you haven't purchased the original release, I would recommend buying this one instead--because atleast it has a few extra tracks to groove to. But if you already have 1 copy, there's no use in buying this one. The extra tracks really aren't that great to begin with.
Free Music Review: Yeah! Hit: 4 StarsListen, I have no complaints about this CD. I just bought this CD today. So I'm a little late. Big deal. I must admit firsthand that I did not buy the first edition of "Confessions" but still loved it. And people out there want to complain about it being reissued several months after its release. Maybe you're like me and just are getting around to this one. So you're treated to a little extra Usher. Patience is a virtue. Sometimes it pays to wait.
I wanted to give this CD a 5-star rating, for the content. The songs are magnificent. Usher's truly grown up with this album, and his songs went from PG-13 to R. But there's nothing wrong with that. You get a taste of the true Usher. However, shortening the songs on the album to make room for the last 4 is a little...wrong. Why not put the final songs on an extra bonus disc a la Lil' Flip "Underground Legend." The original version of "Throwback" could've been left alone, and added the "Remix" with Jada to that bonus disc. I'm glad the "Confessions (Interlude)" was replaced with the full version of Part I. "My Boo" was a great song in it's own right. I personally like the remix of "Red Light" better because Lil' Jon and Ludacris team up with Usher again to do a so-called "Yeah!" Part II. And finally, my last gripe has to be with the remix of "Confessions Part II" with KanYe, Shyne, Jermaine Dupri, and Twista. Why is it edited? You can throw in a cuss word or two throughout, but when it starts getting good they're nowhere to be found? Overall, a great CD. There are just some things I didn't agree with. Oh, and if you want to complain about rereleasing a CD months after being debuted, then say something about Mariah and "The Emancipation of Mimi". That's right. You can't. Because it too, was a great idea (to reissue).
Free Music Review: maybe i'm one of the lucky one's Hit: 5 Starsi love the cd...even if they did get most people with only 3 new songs, the full version of 1, and a fancy new cover. not sure why they left any of it off the first time, with the exception of Red Light(just don't really feel it). maybe i'm lucky (or smart) for just refusing to buy the re-released and just copying it when a friend of mine, who hadn't bought the 1st version, got it. we all know the labels want your money...but it is still a very good cd regardless
Free Music Review: Tevin E Hit: 5 StarsThis cd was good i got it as a gift from my cusin i like the mix of the diffrent things talked about in the song
