I think this is one of the best cd's Usher has ever made. If you don't have the cd you should go out and buy it as soon as possible. Songs like "I Will" "Bedtime" "You Make Me Wanna" and " My Way" have changed my life. Usher is my everything and you should give this cd a listen because you won't know what your missing if you don't. So don't waist any time.Free Music Review: Feelin This Joint!!!!!

I think this was an excellent sophmore effort. My Way is packed with non stop jams and if you are dancin to this cd, you will defenitely break a sweat cause it's poppin like that. My Way was so hot that we couldn't wait for Usher's next release and my thirst was quenched again with 8701. If you dont have this cd, go get it. The songs that won me over was.......Track 2- Just Like Me- Hard hittin beats with Usher and Lil Kim
Track 3 Nice and Slow- good...song
Track 4 Slow Jam- Monica and usher(need I say more)

Free Music Review: No Filler, A Pleasant Ride.

Whew! This really takes me back to my Navy days. Me and some of my friends rode around Virginia Beach bumpin' this CD at all hours of the night and partying 'till dawn! While Usher's sophomore LP is not quite a life-altering experience, it is a remarkably tight, melodic, fun and consistent listen from start to finish. His voice had matured into a confident, assured tenor and he clearly is having the time of his life on all these tracks. At a little over 40 minutes, "MY WAY" doesn't overstay it's welcome and it packs more quality R&B into it's time than a dozen 75 minute CD's combined. The title track is my fave, but a second close choice is the seductive slow-jam "I Will" (a nice contribution from Teddy Riley) and the guitar blessed "Nice 'n' Slow" (a pretty run of the mill tune, but it gets cool points for the nifty guitar lick). 9 originals and 1 remix, and it all runs in classic LP time. More artists should take a page from the book of brevity.Free Music Review: Need to get this!

With Usher's sophomore album My Way, he established himself as a smooth ladies man. Crooning on silky smooth ballads and moonwalking his way into bedrooms, Usher hits the spot. While being released on LaFace and being recorded solely in Atlanta Usher delivers his best album. Backed by legends Jermaine Dupri and Babyface Usher lets out soulful, and up-to-date masterpieces. He has one of the best and most unique voices in the industry as it is easily recognizable. For example take Slow Jam, written and produced by Babyface. This song is a song for the ages. Usher and Monica's voices beautifully blend together serving up a lush ballad that will be remembered for generations. Timeless. This is the best song on the album. You Make Me Wanna, Usher's breakthrough single, is a club groove telling a story from a different perspective. It is about him falling in love with the woman that hooked him up with his current woman and is very interesting. The next masterpiece is Nice & Slow. If you have ever heard this song then you know but it is hard to describe the greatness of this song. Just peep it for yourself. My Way is another suave song that only Usher could pull off. Jermaine Dupri provides this awesome beat and the harmony is perfect. I Will is another slow jam and will definitely get you doing what you need to do if you know what I mean! Bedtime continues the same trend as I Will except it is written and produced by Babyface and it has his signature sound sprinkled all over it. Babyface even sings backup! Truly a great song. One Day You'll Be Mine samples The Isley Brothers Classic Footsteps in The Dark and he doesn't ruin it at all. The only song I don't like is Come Back I just think its wack.
Overall this is a definite classic cd. Even though it lacks length ( running about 45 minutes ) its more than made up by the quality of the songs. If you like Usher's newest work you will most likely fall in love with this cd. I Cant get enough of it! Purchase this quality disc.
Free Music Review: no real reason for the sticker

I have wanted to buy this album for years and never did maianly because i don't like buying albums with partental advisory stickers, but after i bought 8701 and liked it so much i broke down and bought this one. There is some dirty sexaul talk on the lil kim and usher track just like me, but there is nothing else explecit on the cd. this album along with tyrese 2000 watts really did'nt deserve thier stickers. I know this album is not for little kids, but to have the same sticker that enmeiem and kid rock have is to me not right. So if you have debated on buying this because of the label, don't you would be missing a great r and b cd that is actaully less dirty then some that don't have sticker's such as ruff endz love crime's and the now stickered janet jackson all for you which is flithe that is neither art nor music.
