This recording reminds me of a good cross between Tomahawk and The Jesus Lizard. The vocals have a good mix of David Y. and Mike Patton, which is kind of hard to imagine, but it works well. You can tell that Baker had his hands involved but not to the extent that the whole album sounds industrial. In fact, the recording comes off more as rock.
