Free Music Notes for DistanceFree Music Review: Great listening that doesn't disappoint! Hit: 5 StarsUpbeat tempo, catchy tunes and soulful singing.. Hikki has again amazed us with another unique album after "First Love"! With a fresh new look and great R&B numbers like "DISTANCE", "Time Limit" and "Kotobani Naranai Kimochi", this cd offers more of Utada's matured singing and hip-hop music. I especially liked "Wait and See", "Can you keep a secret" and "For You", and thought that "Kettobasse!" gave a tinge of Rock'n'Roll feel. Definitely another sampling of Utada's lyrical and musical prowess.. get ready to be touched! Hikki's other tracks like "Eternally" and "SUNGURASU" also added bittersweet elements to the overall feel, but otherwise, "Parody" seeks only to remind us of this young performer's cheeky and fun-loving nature. This cd would probably have been purr-fect if only the "Underwater Mix" for "Addicted to You" was included instead..but Nevertheless tis an impressive production you won't wanna miss! "DISTANCE" has certainly more variety in terms of musical styles than Hikki's first effort. it's sim-ply seductive!

Free Music Review: HIKKI is a goddess!!! Hit: 5 StarsBeing one of HIKKI's biggest fans since her debut, I have come to expect much from her, And with this album, I was not disappointed. HIKKI stands as being one of the greatest artists in Japan, if not the world, and her incredible abilities as a singer and writer are glowing testament to that. With such great tracks as "Sunglasses", "DO-RA-MA", and my personal favorite;"HAYATOCHI", DISTANCE is without a doubt the only reason as to why I have stopped listening to american pop. To reiterate, HIKKI is one of the greatest artists to ever grace music and I hope that she is around for many years to come.

Free Music Review: Great CD! Hit: 5 StarsI love this cd! I think it is slightly better than her First Love cd. Don't listen to raboof and Kinuka. I don't think they know what they are talking about at all. My guess is they don't know much about Utada. This cd is excellent. Icebreaker seems to have the right idea. Utada has much more talent then most of the popular groups here in America and in Japan. Has anyone ever heard Hamasaki Ayumi sing live? Ayumi has very little talent. Utada sounds the same when she is singing live, and no she is not singing to her recording. She writes her own music which I think says alot right there. Kinuka should have listened past the first track. Everyone I have met has instantly loved her music. Kinuka and raboof are the first people I've heard of who hasn't like her music. My friends who dont even like Japanese music will listen to Utada. My favorite song on the cd is probably Wait & See (which by the way she sings her own back up like icebreaker said, listen to the music or watch the music video of Wait & See) I also like Parody. She has an excellent voice, she can sing very low and very high, and she did break into the us... Trust me, buy this cd...
