This is my favorite I was going to say cassette, though someone stole this! So I had to go get the cd.
I love this whole cd! I am sure it has nothing to do with my father and his father working the railroad and growing up around trains and though father told me not to I would talk with those who showed up when I went with father to the yard for one reason or the other. My father is long gone now...
Daddy whats a train almost makes me cry for one day this might just be the way it is! Things are not like they used to be in the days gone by, in this CD Utah Phillips tells whom ever is listening the way my father would tell his stories, memories just flood back as being a kid and listening to father talk about his day at work or on derailments or just his stories.
Utah does this in a special way, makes you feel as if you are sitting right there with him as he tells his stories and sings his songs.
I will always listen and enjoy what ever Utah Phillips has to say! We need people like him to tell us of the past,and of the future!
I hope you like this CD as much as I do for years to come!
