While volume 1 may be a slightly more consistent album, volume 2 ranks among one of my favourite lemper recordings because some of my favourite songs are on this very album; j'attends un navire from the musical marie galente is just superb, perhaps my all time favourite lemper song; youkali is another masterpiece and le train du ciel as well; i love alter bilbao mond ; surabaya johnny just may be the all time classic woman scorned song and no one can outperform ms lemper in dramatic interpretations of songs.
