I think it is wise to release this recording, back to the less encumbered trio sound. It keeps them more freed up in the long run and is a return to the earlier original sound like on the Essence recording. I know alot of people will be glad about this release. It doesn't mean they won't be using a percussionist again. They already have 3 powerful albums utilising Andre Ferrari's awesome talent. It is also a return to some traditional pieces and that seems smart as well. At any rate the samples sound sweet and I'll be getting a copy real soon, you can bank on that. These men are the top tunesmiths on the planet in my book. They're are in the zone, baby! IT IS ALL GOOD.
