The one man band of Vast (aka Jon Crosby) hits with a blast right from the inital track "Here". His powerful voice mixed with the dark lyrics and thundering guitars and drums brings forth images of Alice In Chains blended with Pink Floyd and the darkness of classic goth and industrial. At times the tracks may seem a little too formulated but the constant injection of worldly influences keeps it interesting. Definite highlights are "Here", "Dirty Hole", "Pretty When You Cry" and the haunting closing track "You".
