A nice album, that reminisces back to L.A. Guns, Vains of Jenna have created a good bit of sleaze rock, with a good mix of hard rockers and the ever-present power ballad. Remember the first Motely Crue album? Or L.A. Guns? The raw intensity? The fun? This is Vains of Jenna. A return to the sunset strip a la 1987. The have it all from the clothing, to the sneer to the sleazy lyrics and swagger. Except it's 2007 and we've been begging to have this music back on the air waves and in the record stores. Buy it! I saw these guys in Cleveland opening for Poison and Ratt, and They were an amazing opening band with a great live show. This album really shows the talent behind the band. It rocks harder and better with each listen.
It's like the 80's all over. So if you like 80's pop metal, then i'd reccomend this album to you.
