Van Hunt Has had better songz but this was an emotionally charged album. He really put some heart into the project although he coulda mixed it up a little with a few featuring artists. Overall its an outstanding album good for easy listening.Free Music Review: Love it! It 's an album with real emotion.

Probably my rate could be 4,5 of 5, the album was great (I don't understand why this don't become a hit...) but some little things can be just adjusted, maybe some production tend to overcome the raw beauty on some songs and maybe the use of more real instruments and musicians could add some freshness.
But the whole album deserve to be listened just some times to become one of your favourite, obviously if you like this genre.
Living on Italy I could only imagine how such material grow on a live show!

This is the purchase to make me stop being influenced by the reviews I see on Amazon. The voals were adequate but not excellent. The music was typical but not classic. The lyrics were his saving grace, clever and thoughtful. Maybe next album he can bring his weak areas up to that level. But he's not the next D'Angelo, Maxwell, or anything of the like. He's a work in progress.
