Van Morrison's "St.Domnic's Preview" is an excellent example of Van's poetic abilities. This is an album for all who have emigrated to America. It recalls both the adventure and the emotional loss of friends and loved ones. In the end song, 'Independence day',Van captures almost the very sounds and images of San Francisco, but more than this, througout this album, he captures regret, love, innocence, happiness and what else, but Fog! "ST.DOMNIC'S PREVIEW" is an album that can be listened to over and over again. Each time I listen to it, it reminds me of that journey, the rolling journey of life. St.Domnic may have had the preview but Van Morrison had the know-how and experience to write about it.
