Free Music Review: Another Great Album By Van Morrison!

Tupelo Honey is a great album. It doesn't reach the level of Moondance or the brilliant Astral Weeks, but it does have some of Morrison's best songs. Wild Night, Old Old Woodstock, and Moonshine Whiskey really standout. The title track is one of Van's most beautiful songs. There are no fillers on this album, but the other songs do fail to reach the greatness of some of the other songs on the album. Although this album has some incredible songs, it doesn't have the level of consistency as alot of his other albums. I would still highly reccomend this album and would call it essential listening to any Van Fan.Free Music Review: 2 song album

This is one of the albums that established Van as a great soul singer. The influence of southern music, particularly from the church, is the backbone of r&b and rock & roll, and has never been more apparent in his music. The joy and optimism in these songs will always bring a smile. Each tune is a winner. That guy who finds only 2 or 3 of them to his liking does not have a clue.Free Music Review: 2 0r 3 song album

I've liked Van Morrison for awhile now, but this is the first CD of his I've purchased. I am so happy with it! I really bought it because of the title track, which is probably one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. The rest of the CD is great too, but nothing can top Tupelo Honey for pure emotion and sexiness. A great song for slow-dancing...
