This is a brilliant compilation, and I was most excited to see the inclusion of Comfortably Numb that was in arguably the best movie from last year, The Departed. What is a glaring omission, in my opinion, is 'Tupelo Honey' from Ulee's Gold. A better song could not have been chosen to end that movie. It completely picked up the subtle beauty of the film, not to mention the obvious connection to Ulee's honey. Nevertheless, this is definitely worth 5 stars.Free Music Review: Do Yourself a favor and GET THIS!!!!!

First off, I did not pay for this album. I won it on a radio contest on the local Oldie's station. However if I had paid for it I would feel like the cover of "Comfortaby Numb" would have been worth every penny I paid. The whole album is so well done. Live versions of "Domino" and "Moondance" freshen up those well beloved but sometimes too familiar sounds. It seems that Van Morrison is an expensive artist. You are paying only for live recording songs, which are four songs, plus the great new recording of brown eyed girl, which is worth the price by it self, with the added song, days like this. The rest are repeats of his best valume one. If you are a van fan, you must get this, or life will pass you by.

I already have all of these songs (except for the Pink Floyd one), but the compilation is great. My wife, who doesn't really enjoy every Van song, does like everyone on this cd and it has some live versions that I never heard before. All-in-all, it's a great addition to anybody's music collection.Free Music Review: Van Morrison entertains once again

From the first time I heard Van Morrison to this CD, it is to be concluded that Van Morrison is as entertaining as always. I know some of these songs are 4-5 years old but the quality and clarity is still there. His voice is still as rich and the soundtrack melodies will take you to "the movies".
