Free Music Notes for StormFree Music Review: The best Violin CD Ever Hit: 5 Stars
I have looked for a long time to find a "classical" cd that I can listen to while doing homework. Unfortunately, they usually cause me to fall asleep. This cd is upbeat and fresh, and I don't have that problem anymore. I play the violin, and have for almost 6 years, and I wish that I could play even half as good as she sounds on Storm. I recommend this to anyone who is into classical music but needs a little more of an edge.
Free Music Review: Absolutely, pure genious Hit: 5 Stars
I am a classical and contemporary ballet dancer and let me just say that this CD was absolutely inspiring! I worked with a choreographer this year who did a series of contemporary ballets to Vanessa Mae's Storm and The Violin Player CD's and I have never given a better performance. You will fall in love with this CD the minute you hear it, especially the jazzed up version of Vivaldi, Storm!!!
Free Music Review: An accomplished musician Hit: 5 Stars
Any talented, knowledgeable, well-trained musician will tell you that a good musician should be able to understand and play any type of music. That so many supposedly accomplished musicians (like Julian Lloyd Webber) have stepped forward to rant against Vanessa-Mae's pop music I will never understand! She is an inspiration to us all! Power to her! (Oh, and Storm is a must have album!)
Free Music Review: Vanessa Mae Hit: 5 Stars
I hope this talented lady makes and releases more recordings of this type mixing rock and classic togeather. It will give young people a chance to enjoy the masters and realalize that their music is not dead and still can be played so they can enjoy it today. Heck my 15yr old sat with me and was digging the music as much as I was.
Free Music Review: well worth listening to Hit: 5 Stars
this is a wonderful recording. while it doesnt have as much violin as her previous recordings, the music is still awesome. i'd reccomend this especially for anyone who's listening to rock or popular music and wants to get into classical a little. this CD, and 'the violin player' bridge the gap.
